A famous connection opened the door

Socas is identified in the series as a niece of Adolfo Cambiaso, the most celebrated player of the modern polo era. That family connection supplied immediate recognition in a world where surnames function as currency.

The relevant point is not whether Socas possessed independent sporting prestige. It is that her connection to polo royalty gave her social legitimacy around an organization already dependent on borrowed credibility.

Part VI places her inside the operation

The investigation reports that Socas assisted with bookings, payments and the administrative side of Polo United while presenting herself as a friendly and accessible contact for members. In Wendy Ouriel's analysis, her function combined elements of Michel Dorignac's social reassurance with the less visible financial work attributed to Zoe Cookson.

Those assertions come from the reporting and source accounts in Part VI; they are not presented as judicial findings. If accurate, they place Socas inside the machinery of the business rather than merely beside its principals.

The hospital journey created a serious question

Documented statements submitted to Wendy Ouriel by members of the polo community state that after Desenzani's January 5, 2025 riding accident, Socas traveled toward the hospital in a separate vehicle with Alex Meshechok. Those statements further allege that she gave medical personnel an inaccurate account of what caused the fall.

The statements place that alleged account within the financial crisis surrounding Desenzani's care: he was reportedly inadequately insured, and medical expenses threatened funds associated with Polo United. The proposed financial motive remains Wendy Ouriel's analysis. The alleged statement itself has not been adjudicated.

As Ciro remained comatose, Socas appeared with York RE Capital

Documented statements submitted to Wendy Ouriel by members of the polo community state that Socas began working for Meshechok for a salary after Desenzani's collapse. Her own Instagram activity later placed her visibly inside the York RE Capital social and polo circle.

That transition matters because Meshechok was simultaneously asserting claims against Desenzani and Michel Dorignac while continuing relationships with people and branding connected to Polo United. Socas's appearance in this new arrangement supports Wendy Ouriel's conclusion that the network reorganized rather than disappeared.

The old circle gathered under a new name

The image documents continued social proximity among figures connected to the old operation and Meshechok's team. It does not, by itself, prove financial or criminal conduct. Its evidentiary value is timing and association: the gathering occurred while Desenzani was comatose and the surviving network was repositioning itself.

Part VI alleges a role in the post-collapse transfer

The investigation alleges that Socas assisted Meshechok as money, horses, vehicles and equipment associated with Polo United were being redirected or sold. It further questions whether funds acquired through Polo United were used to support the York RE Capital operation.

These are serious allegations and are presented as such. No criminal conviction or judicial finding against Socas is asserted on this page. What the record described by Part VI does establish is that her relationship with the surviving players continued after Desenzani could no longer direct the business himself.

The insider who changed sides

Socas's significance is not based on celebrity, sexuality or social-media presentation. It rests on the role attributed to her inside Polo United, her reported conduct during Desenzani's medical emergency, and her visible alignment with Meshechok afterward.

Wendy Ouriel's assessment is that Socas functioned as an operator of convenience: useful to Polo United while it generated money, then useful to the circle assembling around its remaining assets. That is an authorial conclusion drawn from the chronology—not a substitute for a court finding.
